Chroma City Fun Park is the eighth level and district of de Blob. Out of all the levels to include Inkies as a constant, active threat, this level has the least amount of threats. It serves as the final goal of the Revolution in Chroma City.

Story[]

After restoring the Hanging Gardens, some Raydian scholars informed the Colour Underground that the concentrated ink found inside the plant originated from a facility built inside the Fun Park. Arriving at the Park, Zip informs Blob that INKT have converted it into an ink factory to harvest concentrated ink from the sadness of Graydians. After liberating the INKT Holding Pen and occupying the police station for this district, the Prof tells Blob that some saboteurs are kept locked up in a Jail Cell after they tried to activate a water pump to get rid of the ink next to it. After clearing the ink there is the ink extractor that needs to be shut down. Arriving at the last sector gate, the group finds the Centrifuge, a wipeout ride [1] designed to extract ink by spinning the graydians inside. The Liberation is finished once the centrifuge has been transformed.

There are 3 Sectors in this level. Sectors 1 and 2 will be broken into multiple parts. All of this level is entirely enclosed - meaning that you can't travel from places such as Sector 1 to Sector 3 without going through Sector 2.

Sector 1: Fun Park Gates, Watchtower and Hall of Colour

Sector 1A: Fun Park Gates
[]

The entrance pool is surrounded by cliffs with a small area of grass and flowers in front. A road comes from the left, where it is submerged with ink and a destroyed Inky Tank lays. Some barricades lay next to the road being long abandoned. Many silos and towers, along with small blocks stand on the sides. The road then drops down the hill to a large Spike Trap on the ground with multiple switches. Beyond that is some platforms covering a large ink puddle with barricades (some have collapsed, whilst some are still standing). Clearing these hazards leads to the front entrance of the Park. Waves of Heavy Inkies and Inkies (with some Elites) come in as the defence, standing behind even more barricades. The central park is split into two parts by a road, with the southern one having a stall next to a very tall wall surrounding the entire fun park. To the right is some containers next to a large ink pool, with some silos standing in it. A ramp with an moving walkway[2] heads to the upper part, where there are holding cells on the walls, which are used by the graydians. In front are more moving walkways with switches to temporary stop them. West of the park is some storage warehouses for Graydians to be processed. In between them is a silo with a z-jump between the two rollercoasters high above. Note that these rollercoasters run for the entire length of the level. The park also has a transformation engine.

Near the warehouses is some containers where there is a inky turret. Two small silos act as towers with one having a destroyed turret on the top. The main landmark nearby is the INKT Holding Pen. High above the upper level of this subsection is a propaganda tower surrounded by walls and silos. This can be reached by using a wind cannon from the roof of the block nearest to the jail (Reachable by using the aforementioned z-jump). Two billboards are on the rollercoaster so timing the launch from the wind cannon is crucial. Small pipes connect the other block to another silo as another moving walkway connects Section 1A upper deck to the Watchtower. There are tall fences that block direct travel between 1A and 1C.

Section 1B: The Watchtower

At the top of the moving walkway is a watchtower with groups of Elites guarding it (a heavy inky spawns after the elites are killed). To the right, there is two silo (one tall and one short) with a stall in front, and a billboard above it. Another silo with a billboard sits on the left, along with two cylindrical containers. Small fences are placed at the end of the deck to stop anyone falling into the pool below. Heading away from the watchtower and down a small ramp, there are some warehouses with several graydians and two elites. Behind them is a tunnel and to the right is a billboard. A moving walkway with ramps descends down to Sector 1C. on the supporting foundations of Sector 1B are two billboards, placed on either side of the ramp.

Sector 1C: Police Station and the Hall of Colour

The Hall of Colour are two columns of warehouses on both sides separated by a road that heads directly to the Police Station, before turning right and towards the sector gate. The gate is barricaded, and there is a way to it by going around to the back of the police station. At the back, there are some silos (small and tall). West of the left column of warehouses is another billboard and a small circular platform. On the other side is a raised area with some towers on top. A Transformation Engine is located on the road in front of the station.

Sector 2: Held Hostage, Flooded Park, Ink Extractor and Holding Cells

Like Sector 1, Sector 2 will be split into smaller areas.

Sector 2A: A Jail and Water Pump
[]

Another walled area, this area houses another jail, surrounded by spike traps and patrolled by Leechbots. As soon as you enter, there are some trees with a silo and pipes, along with a tower with a billboard to the right on a raised section. To the left of that is a small gap where you can go through but it is advised not to until the ink is cleared. A stall stands with fences at the back with another block tower. Arrows point towards the conveyer belt with two containers; and behind these signs is a group of trees with another tower behind it, supporting a rollercoaster ride. This ride splits the jail from the water pump before turning right behind the jail and turning left at the wall before continuing into Sector 2C. There are three Big Paintbots nearby to help with the jail. Heading onto the conveyer belt, there is a small ink canal besides it and some platforms and silos on the other side. Besides these are some trees with another platform between them. Caution is advised to not touch the tunnel entrances as they are flowing with ink.

Reaching the other side of the fence is the water pump. This area has some containers and is defended by a turret. From here, the aforementioned rollercoaster can be climbed on to as an entrance to Sector 2C. Above this is a small area with ink pools, trees and small silos.

Sector 2B: Ink Extractor and Holding Cells

Once the ink has been cleared, the area is split into different parts. The Ink Extractor is a tall structure sat in between the same two rollercoasters from Sector 1, which continues into the last sector. It is protected by spikes around the entrance, making navigating it more difficult. Behind this is a set of raised platforms with tunnels, which have Graydians trapped between more spikes. At the top is a platform with some holding cells and a container. Another conveyer belt leads to the last sector gate with more holding cells. In fact the entire eastern wall of this sector is lined with rows of cells and a wall crane. Hazards such as stampers hide in gaps and a small group of leetchbots lurk in the corner. Climbing to the top of the cells is a z-jump to get on top of the rollercoasters. In the south, a row of holding cells with the terminus of the rollercoaster near the jail, which also has more holding cells above it. A stall stands in front on a raised section. The park is split into two parts and more stampers impede the movement between the two parts. A trio of silos and small pipes making traversing slightly easier. There is a big ramp from the water below to the extractor. The main rollercoasters have a z-jump located near the secondary coaster that bounces between each one. A transformation engine is located in the park closest to the extractor.

Sector 3: More Stampers, Last Defence and The Centrifuge

The last district has minimal enemies (save for the heavy inkies at the north-west section near a Colour Tank. Two conveyer belts head north and one heads towards the entrance, at a lower level than the others before ascending. Sticking to the main belts, holding cells and stampers line the walls, hoping to push anything out of the way. Two billboards are placed above the cells. Small blocks stagger in and from this area, which can be used as a quick shortcut to the main area. Heading left and more blocks and the rollercoasters emerge from the tunnels above. Past that is a silo with another billboard and a style swirl. There is a large body of water mostly separating the two parts. Platforms with tunnels and spikes again hold graydians hostage. Reaching the main area and heading west is another stall next to a tunnel and some storage blocks. On the upper platform is the heavy inkies and the tank.

The Centrifuge is located at the top of a large group of cells, with a park (and transformation engine) in front. Reaching the top requires a z-jump and following the rollercoasters, bypassing spikes on the roof, as well as stampers. On the western rollercoaster is a small area above near the Centrifuge that contains some trees and silos, as well as a billboard. There is a way to access the eastern side of the landmark from there. On the other hand, the eastern rollercoaster has stampers and some spikes. The exit pool is located near the park.
