The INKT Invasion of Chroma City was the first act of hostilities in the wider Colour Wars. It was a sudden and quick invasion as most Chroma residents were not aware of the upcoming invasion. Chroma City was targeted by the INKT Corporation due to its vibrant colours, seen as a impurity by the invaders and desired for its removal.

Invasion Day

The city was brightly basked in colours, with balloons of Raydians floating above the rooftops, and the blimp high above the skyline. Down below, citizens were going about their daily activities. A young girl receives a balloon from a balloon seller and proceeds to skip up a hill. Suddenly, she drops and accidently lets go of her balloon. As she starts to get up, she looks up to see a large ship approaching the city, covering it in a dark shadow. Everyone else see it and start to point and run for their lives.

Inside the ship, there are Inkies lined up on the sides on computers as the leader (Comrade Black) sits in full view of the city below. He quickly turns around and hits a button, giving the signal for the Inkies to invade. From the ship, Inkies are dropped before activating their blimps and boxes of Leechbots rain over the city. They then start to suck out all the colour from the city. Inky Jetbikes race through the city streets before stopping at an intersection waiting for an blind elderly man to cross.

Aftermath

Revelling in victory, Black laughs as his army occupies the city and forces the residents into a conversion centre to become Graydians. However, some residents were not happy with this and got together to form an underground faction to expel INKT from the city: the Colour Underground. In addition, there was another character who was nearby when the invasion was going on: Blob. After seeing what had happened, he jumped into the city to help those in need, and eventually met with the Colour Underground. ^{De Blob: Long Live Color (Comic)} It is from there the seeds to the First Colour Revolution are planted.
