Jails is an INKT Landmark that appears in both de Blob and de Blob 2. It's tasked with holding Graydian prisoners; they also captured Bif for a short time. With a paint point requirement of 100 in the first game, they are the most difficult landmarks to transform (excluding the Major Landmarks). In some cases, they are guarded by a INKT Police Station and/or a Propaganda Tower. Whilst some are by themselves, there are some that have another jail nearby (such as Chroma Dam and Ministry of Ink). In the second game, they have a much lower paint requirement and are not guarded by another landmark. They appear even less than its predecessor.
Appearances in de Blob
In de Blob, jails are boxed-shaped with the INKT Logo on the grey front with a small entrance at the bottom. The sides slightly angle upwards; and the roof has thin metal bars that give the interior little sunshine, covering the central part of the structure. The black cell covers stick out from the corners and sit on the edges of the cell.
Appearance in de Blob 2
Another landmark which had a major makeover from its predecessor, jails in de Blob 2 have a tier system of cells, all stacked on top of the jail base, which acts as the entrance. The base has doors with a small, thin grill above it. The cells themselves have larger grills placed on all its sides. At the very top, is a spotlight, which constantly moves around. Like the Police Station in de Blob 2, they have pipes connecting to it from the ground.
