Leechbots are a type of robot enemy seen in de Blob and de Blob 2. They were invented by the INKT Corporation to drain Raydia of its color. When Leechbots fill themselves up with color, they become known as Paintbots.

Strategy

Leechbots are weak enemies that only take 1 paint point to defeat, but can still prove to be dangerous if you're not careful. If they see Blob while he is colored, they'll chase after him and try to jump on him. If a Leechbot manages to jump onto Blob, it'll drain paint points out of him until either Blob dies or the player shakes it off by shaking the Wii remote.

In de Blob, Inky Jet Bikes are also able to drop three Leechbots out of the back of their bikes.

Trivia

• When transformed into Paintbots, they are unable to attack Blob in this form, probably because the weight of the paint inside their bodies prevents them from moving very far.

• It is unknown if the Leechbots have a backup paint supply once they fill up with color, as they always refill themselves after being crushed by Blob.
