The Ministry of Ink is the final major landmark of de Blob. Located in the military complex of the same name, it is also the hardest landmark to deal with. It is the Headquarters (HQ) of the INKT Corporation after they invaded Chroma City. Comrade Black resides here, giving orders to his army in the safety of his complex.
Description[]
It is a rectangular monolith, with the sides curving inward and the back and front sides being built in steps. The sides have a large central section indent for the ink flowing down from the top. The front side is angled inwards and has two smaller streams of flowing ink on both sides. In addition, there is a connecting pylon on the immediate sides of the center, with a small observational window at the top. There is a slightly narrow dark grey arch at the bottom with a short thick canopy over the mid - section. Above this is four sections of panelling, followed by a inward step. From here, a light grey panel is connected with more panelling and a line of thin windows just below Black's personal ship. From below, you can see the imprint (design) of the ships' inclusion on the building, as the top curves inwards. The ink streams are segregated from the rest by a in - built canal on the sides.
Most of the building sits on the lower floor with some being settled on the upper floor. At the back is more ink streams flowing down with an large central indent, where the water pump is. The Ministry's walls here actually angle outwards from the inside (due to allowing the ship to land). There are two more observational windows at the back on either side of the ship. Speaking of the ship, It has a grey lower - half with 3 large exhausts sticking out from the center. Two large fins protrude on either side, with the lower quarter retaining the grey colour. Underneath the ship are two short ink streams on either side and three pipes connect to the pump.
There's not much at the top, except for the large INKT logo on the top of the ship's hull. The front of the ship has angled - curved triangular windows.
Strategy[]
As said before, this is the hardest landmark to deal with - mainly due to the large number of turrets shooting at you from all angles. The first thing you need to tackle is the water pump located at the back of the Ministry. Transforming that with 50 Green Points will switch off the ink flow, allowing you to reach one of the weak points.
There are three weak points to the monolith, located at three different levels of the ministry. The first one is at the front entrance at the bottom. Keep an eye out for the Elites and Turrets on this level. Once done, head up to the next floor using a Z - Jump, and the next weak point is found right of the water pump. Be wary of more Elites here. Finally, use the nearby Z - Jump to get up to the roof. Here, dodge all of the turret fire and the weak point is on the other side. There are big paintbots up here as well if you need a top - up. Once the landmark is transformed, the turrets will de - spawn, and the ship will float high in the sky.
