Sergeant Inkies (or known as Sergeants) are types of Inky seen in de Blob 2.

Appearance

Sergeant Inkies are similar to normal Inkies, but they are bigger in size. They also have a chevron symbol on their helmet instead of the normal INKT logo, making them well known to be sergeants. The baton they wield in their right hand is black instead of light grey, but it starts glowing into a greenish-with-white aura if a Sergeant Inky spots Blob. It also leaves an ink gas trail once a Sergeant Inky chases Blob. They first make their appearance in The Senate on top of the bridge to the Senate, but appear in every level onwards.

Strategy

Sergeant Inkies aren't much of a problem, as they're basically larger versions of Inkies but having more paint points required to defeat.

It costs 15 paint points to defeat one, but Blob must take precaution as Sergeant Inkies can ink Blob if they whack him with their batons, as well as taking away his paint points.

Trivia

• In Soda Falls, there are only two Sergeant Inkies that have a glitch where their hitboxes are disproportionately small, causing them to miss most baton swings if Blob stands still
• Sergeant Inkies' behaviour are similar to the Inkies' from De Blob, as they ink Blob if he gets too close.
• If Blob is clear and pushes a Sergeant Inky, they will get pushed, unlike other Inkies, as they will attack if Blob touches them while being clear. To trigger a Sergeant Inky into attacking Blob while he's clear, Blob must jump on top of the Sergeant Inky's helmet.
