Shepherds are religious Inkies introduced in de Blob 2, members of the Cult of Blanc. They are stationary and require 10 paint points to defeat.
Appearance[]
Shepherds are priest-like Inkies wearing gray robes with an elongated appearance, almost as if they're tall. On the top of their mitre is their Cult of Blanc logo; a dark gray, hypnotic spiral. Shepherds are most notoriously known by their "faces," which is actually a mask that reveals that they have a singular eye.
Strategy[]
Shepherds are fairly, simple enemies to deal with due to them only attacking Blob with their remote-controlled Hypnodiscs.
The best way to defeat a Shepherd is to take cover and hide from their sight, or just stay crouched if there is nowhere to hide. You must wait until the Hypnodisc fails to hypnotize Blob and strike while the Shepherd becomes frustrated and brings his Hypnodisc back. If there are multiple Shepherds in the area, either wait until they've all released their Hypnodiscs or charge toward them before they get the chance to try and hypnotize you.

Trivia[]
- Shepherds are stationary enemies, much like Inky Turrets, Inky Mortars, and Spikey Inkies.
- Shepherds are the rarest enemy in the game, as their major appearance is in Blanctown and then later on are sparsely seen in other levels.
- If a Shepherd fails to catch Blob with his hypnodisc, he throws his remote down in frustration, jumps once, shakes violently, and grunts angrily. If he succeeds, he'll laugh at Blob.
- This makes Shepherds one of the very few enemies in the de Blob series to make noise when they successfully attack Blob.
- Their name is a reference to the Bible, "Beware the Shepherd!"
- When Shepherds are stunned, if Blob were to attack them with paint points under 10, they would make a dizzy-like groan as their masks would look as if they're about to snap off. After snapping back to their senses, they would adjust their masks before putting their arms together.
- Shepherds, surprisingly, can spot Blob very far, as evident at Blanctown's Church where the single Shepherd can see Blob across the water.
- The same applies where in The Senate, Blanc HQ, a couple of Shepherds can see Blob across the bridges.
