The Tank Depot is a landmark that produces the dastardly tanks for INKT. They always have a tank or two patrolling the streets nearby, so it is well defended. In addition, another one can appear from it when tasked with shutting it down, so extra caution is advised. Like jails, they have the highest paint point requirement in de Blob. They first appear in Chroma Dam, after the introduction of the tank. They are rarely seen for the remainder of the game with the exception of two levels.
Building's Appearance in de Blob
Tank Depots are the second largest minor buildings in the game, in terms of overall ground area, behind the watchtower. It consists of the main two side walls and the front façade. The façade has a large gate for the tanks to roll out, yet again endorsed with the INKT Logo on the front of the irregular black shutters. Above it is a white cover with some small holes; angling at the bottom and the corners having a larger surface area, but with a small clearance gap between the top of the shutters and the canopy roof. The two side walls are identical to each other and head straight from the main section. This is to give the newly - built tanks some form of cover.
These walls are quite short with braces on the inside as well as the outside. It is roughly split in half with the white/black colour scheme. The top half is split into three equal sections, each with three small circles in the center. At the front is two columns, with the grey/black colour combo and the INKT logo on the lower half. The upper half has a thin grey line followed by a thicker black line (possibly be a viewing platform), before being topped with a small dome.
The main section has a wide window across the front, with a combination of rectangular and triangular sections. This section extends for a bit behind as to accommodate a water pool at the top. Another viewing platform with a dome is placed right above the shutter doors. The remaining section behind this platform is less wider than the front. It is also styled with a black/white line pattern.
