The Docklands is the sixth level in de Blob. It introduces the Elite Inkies as the final regular enemy in the game; Electric Plates as a new hazard, and a new landmark: The Watchtower. The Inky Jet Bike makes its last appearance in this level after Comrade Black cuts their funding. It also starts a mystery as to where the colour was being shipped to, which would not be answered until Lake Raydia.
Story:[]
The Colour Underground arrives to put a stop to Black's operation to transport colour and graydians to a undisclosed location after they learnt this from the artists rescued from Guggentraz Island. Bif informs Blob that the INKT Corporation has developed a new enemy to counter Blob - the Elite Inky. The Professor has found their only weakness: To kill them, you need to be the same colour as them. Progressing through, there are more ships that must not leave. The bay and river are polluted with ink, and the watchtower watches the graydians from above. It is shown that the Docklands Lighthouse has been turned into the Uplink Tower, where it sends transmissions to the Ministry of Ink. Sadly, one of the transmissions details the conversion of the Hanging Gardens into an Ink Treatment Plant.

Sectors in The Docklands[]
Gallery |
|
There are five sectors in this level, with the last sector solely the Uplink Transmitter.
Sector 1: Elite Inkies[]
The entrance pool is located behind a warehouse on a cliff with the container ship in front. Said warehouse has a ramp and spires on each side. To its left, is another warehouse and some containers next to a steep ramp into the ink. Cliffs surround the area on all sides except the bay. Above is a platform with a style; from there, the small ships floating in the polluted entrance into Lake Raydia. The ship is located in the middle with containers, cranes, some silos, and warehouses surrounding it. To the sides, there are fences. A Z-Jump heads to the top of the cranes as one of the accesses to the ship bridge. Inside the ship is graydians and another style (This will be common in all the ships in this level).
Sector 2: More ships, Watchtower and Containers[]
To the left and right are more containers with a train track going in between them. The right stacks of containers are surrounded by cliffs. On the other side are some silos and warehouses. The land bridge is located above the borders between sectors 1 and 2 with z-jumps and cranes to reach it. On top, there are some billboards, trees, and Tiki huts. From here, the former lighthouse can be seen; with a wind cannon aimed towards the summit. On the other end, is a rock stub with a transformation engine. There are some platforms loosely connecting the two parts with another platform heading to the warehouses on the left. Next to the silos is another container ship with elite inkies. One of the silos has a z-jump leading to the bridge of the adjacent ship, which has an inky turret. In between of the two ships is a road with ramps and a few cranes for each one.
The INKT Police Station is opposite of the ship next to a row of warehouses. It sits in front of a canal with a bridge to the left and silos line the other side. They have a bridge that directly connects to a platform on the cliffs that lead to the compound on the left. In the compound, there is a tall building on the left, a few containers, and a large tunnel next to the Jail Cells. A small park is located in the corner with the docks in front. On each side, there are ships with graydians on it, as well as on the docks itself. All the way at the end, is a watchtower, a towering landmark that has a eye constantly looking around. Behind the silos are rows of containers with a substation next to it. East of the police station is an area full of more silos and a road has parts covered in ink. A water pump nearby controls the flow of ink into this section (be wary of a turret on the opposite side of the canal). In the corner near the large silos is a power station, enclosed by fences and with some containers. The eastern border is lined with trees all the way to the sector gate. This area also has some more warehouses an even more containers.
Sector 3: More containers, Polluted canal and the Bridge to the Clifftop[]
There are some buildings next to the border and some have electric plates fitted onto the walls facing the previous sector. A fountain is in front of the buildings with some trees close by. On the right side is some more trees and a small container group with a z-jump The canal snakes around near the water pump in front and near the watchtower before heading straight and turning right, under the freeway and next to another water pump before turning left and ending at a wall with two large pipes. Heading straight into a turret on the road in between a block of houses and the pump. The road turns left past a tall stack of silos and crosses the canal before turning right with the aforementioned watchtower to the left, next to the cliffs being protected by two rows of electric plates. As the road follows parallel to the cliffs, there are a few elevators that brings inkies to the surface (they are linked to the watchtower); alongside is more silos.
At the end, the road turns right, with some pumping machinery in front and another canal behind that with a tall wall that runs straight all the way to the other side of the pump from the main canal. Said road then meets the freeway and continues straight up until the last water pump before turning right to over the canal and then left past some warehouses, with another right to turn parallel with th cliffs, adjacent to a large container yard. Finally, it makes another right turn, passing more trees near the border before reaching the sector gate again. Above this is a conveyer belt, taking containers. The container yard is located just under the bridge and is split in a 3x3 grid with tracks in between them. A road passes next to it connecting the warehouses to the sector entrance. On the other side is more machinery with a tall silo. South of the warehouses is a single silo and further one is a block of buildings with electric plates on the walls. On the free is groups of elite inkies with heavy inkies; further is a colour tank and two turrets guarding the sector gate.
Sector 4: Tank Depot and Recon[]
Once in the sector, there is a tank depot with fountains and trees on both sides. Behind it is a road but it is covered in ink. A row of buildings line the west and parts of the north and south; some trees are next to the northern end. Right of the gate is a small row of buildings with a billboard on the wall and some trees that stop at the final sector gate. To the right of the depot is two rows of blocks; both rows have electric plates on the roofs and walls. The road in between is also covered in ink. The second row is split into two parts, with the first half having a ink pool in the middle. The same can also be found in the right side of the first row of buildings. One tree is in front of the south-eastern block and a few more trees line the eastern border.
Sector 5: Uplink Transmitter[]
There is a fountain next to some trees in the corner with some benches. In front is a wind cannon aimed at the tower. Pipes from the tower base cut across before heading underground near the cliffs and trees. Beyond the tower is a small park surrounded by more trees and the exit pool. The Uplink Transmitter has electric plates on most of its surfaces and a z-jump to get to the highest point.
