Water Pumps are common landmarks seen in Chroma City. They are used to either clear ink nearby, or to pump some water in (i.e. into a dry sewer). As such, they are always seen near bodies of liquid. First seen in Downtown, they are found in every level since; sometimes, levels will have more than one pump. While some are mainly focus on clearing up the waterways, some pumps focus on protecting other landmarks, including: Mega Reactor and the Ministry of Ink. These tend to be guarded by enemies so caution is advised.
Appearance
In terms of appearance, they are a large box with a dark - grey lined base with a light grey top. Pipes exit from the pump and deposit water into an area to its left or right. In some pumps, pipes are present on both sides; others only have a pipe coming out from one side.
At the top is a small pool of water with a tall structure that sticks out. It has the INKT logo stamped on its sides and top. In front of the structure is a floor of mesh. In addition, some pumps have a platform next to it, which has a Z-Jump on it.
