"Hang on, somebody doesn't want people painting around here... Those white tiles are designed to remove color. According to the plaque, these have been donated by a 'Papa Blanc'..." - Pinky informing Blob at the Town Hall's second main mission in Downtown
White Tiles are hazards that appear in de Blob 2, manufactured by Comrade Black and the Cult of Blanc.
Background[]
When Comrade Black took his disguise as Papa Blanc, he ordered the Cult of Blanc to manufacture the White Tiles in order to clean off color should anybody attempt to paint buildings. He donated them all around Downtown and had them mass-produced in Prisma's Opera House, which was converted into a Blanc Cult Centre with a secret underground factory. They were shipped to other parts of Prisma City should Blob ever try to paint buildings.
White Tiles were then discontinued later on as more lethal hazards took their place, such as Spike Traps, Hot Plates and Electric Plates.
Appearance[]
White Tiles are gray plates with a white X and a gray hole in the middle. On those tiles, there are smaller holes in a symmetical pattern, much likely representing powder caps.
Functionality[]
White Tiles are designed to remove color, powdering Blob if he ever touches them. They don't harm Blob, but can be annoying to deal with if the player doesn't avoid them carefully.
Level Appearance[]
Here are the locations where White Tiles are seen at:
- Downtown
- Blanctown
- Comrade Black U (State College)
- Blanc Cola Cannery (Soda Falls)
- Inky Fabricator (Railyards)
Trivia[]
- These are the only hazards that physically wouldn't do Blob any harm.
